Colossal Birch Coffee Table

This is a most unusually large birch burl and quite rare.  It measures a whopping 38" across!  The legs are maple with burl feet resembling a lions paw, very dramatic.  Each leg also comes completely through the top creating a tenon that changes its shape at each leg adding a whimsical flare to the piece.  It is finished in over 10 coats of oil hand-rubbed to a velvet finish.
