| A very large yellow birch burl is floating atop its base of cherry creating a simple yet very elegant look. The legs are supported by cherry crossrails and mortise and thru tenon joints pinned by walnut treenails. Each flared leg is accented with a diamond inlay of white birch bark and 1/4 twig trim. Butterfly keys on the top not only stabilize the check but create character. Handrubbed mult-layered oil finishes this piece and it measures 28" diameter by 28" high |
